Crawford Hall, located at the Southbury Training School, has some significant potential for remediation. It could be a very viable site for affordable housing and/or senior housing. The Town is assessing the potential to bring this solidly built building back to good use.
FAQs
SAHA hosted an educational public forum during April 2026. Leaders from Housing Enterprises, Sustainable Southbury, Partnership for Strong Communities, Westport Housing Authority and many other prominent organizations were present to answer questions regarding Affordable Housing. This event was widely attended and informative discussions were had.
